Every year in on May 24th many Australians or attend one of the many Australia’s Biggest Morning tea’s around the country. Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea is a fundraising initiative by the Cancer Council to raise funds to support cancer research programs, providing support to those who need it most while undergoing treatment and promoting sun smart skin cancer prevention. 1 in 2 Australians will be diagnosed with cancer by the age of 85, this means that most of us will be impacted by cancer at some point in our lifetime.

One of the biggest impacts of the Cancer council is their research funding. Contributing from donations throughout the year and from Australia’s Biggest Morning tea events, the Cancer Council directed over $60 million in cancer research across Australia in 2017.
